Temperatures are soaring today and working in the basement seems to be the best way to beat the heat. I'm working on a colored pencil drawing of a sunflower just about to bloom. Here it is "in progress" with endless possibilities to follow. I can't decide whether to finish it as drawing or use it as a sketch and explore some of those possibilities in paint.
